1969 I dont think so.
Just watching a programe on 5, at the time the programe was in 1969, and it was showing a Carry On scene (Backstage), anyway I'm sure the cab I seen belonged to a much later Ford Cargo. Anyone else spotted any TV mistakes?

Yes. There was once a R reg, fairground ERF in Heartbeat. That was set before the end of steam, in August 1968. So, it was many years out of period.:confu sed:

When I worked in the old Kingston bus garage it was used to film a scene for the t.v series '' Goodnight Sweetheart ''. It was then just about the only L.G.O.C garage left much as it was built in the 1920s - the t.v people spent days covering up or takeing down any non period lights, notices and that sort of thing. But they failed to see a very rude drawing someone had done in the dirt on one of the office windows, to me it stands out like a sore thumb every time I see it repeated on one of the Sky channels. In fact it does look a bit like a thumb if you get my meaning.

Ha ha ha, very funny, and of course no doubt it was broadcast.
I the same programe last night I'm sure a Mercedes car shown was a W reg, a few years after Sid James died in 1976.
