    Hi Guys,
Its finally here, we, SWMBO and I have turned off the embroidery machines for the final time! That of course means that in a few weeks our web site will also disappear. My Transport picture page has been piggy backed on that site so will also cease.

I am in the process of creating a new site, hence my absence from the forum recently. The site is partially open, and will develop further as time goes by. My new web address will be www.pageonemedia.me.uk and I invite you all to visit. Any constructive criticism will be welcomed.
    Regards

    Hi there,

I just wanted to wish you guys all the very best for Xmas and happy and safe new year.
As I type this I know you haven’t woken up to Xmas, but I can tell you we have a beauty.
I walked on the beach this morning with the 2 dogs and at 9am it was already quite crowded with people setting up BBQ’s and Xmas picnics. It is about 23 degrees and sunny, 2 to 3 knots on shore breeze and the pohutukawa’s (NZ’s Xmas tree) are in full bloom, and frankly, you couldn’t ask for more.
I am now just waiting for the cook to serve while I patiently wait, with a red in hand!.

All the best guys, look forward to another years photos and repartee.

    Mike

    Robert,

Just sent today 2 latest issues of our two Trucking Mags. One of each. Both have articles on Ivecos, so should interest you.

Still trying to find ways to send them to you regularly, trouble is they are printed on high quality paper, which is heavy.
Sent these ones on the "Xmas Post" special, so saved a bit.

Anyway mate, all the best for Xmas to you and yours, and have a good one, and a safe one.

    Rgds/Mike

    Hi Robert,
Sorry for such a late response.

I note your email with your address was removed. but I have it copied, so no problem.
I did not appreciate how expensive it was to send mail these days. $31nzd to send 3 mags!!!.
I asked, what about seamail, parcel post, 2nd class airmail etc, and was told, "no such thing anymore". Airmail, that's it.
    Bl**dy robbers.
What I shall do though, is when friends etc head to Europe I shall get them to post them there.
I have 4 packages for you and it is damned frustrating.

Sorry mate, the offer was made with the best intentions, I didn't appreciate the rapaciousness of the postal operators.
But you will get them, eventually.

    Rgds/Mike
