Question Bedford TK rear axle brake drum-hub removal

Hi Folks,
I beleive I have the rear axle of a Bedford TK truck welded onto the chassis of my boat trailer. As the trailer has been standing for over a year, the brake drum-hub have seized onto the brake pads. I have removed the drive shaft, 2 x castle nuts and castle washer. However, I cannot move the brake drum-hub assembly. I've tried some gentle brute force (crow bar through wheel bolts and sledge hammer taps). No movement. I noticed two rubber grommets on the back side of the brake drum dust cover. On opening it seems to reveal a view of the brake drum inner edge + brake pad side profile. My question: Can I insert a sturdy cold chisel or drift into these holes, rest on the brake drum edge and use a hefty hammer to drift the brake drum and hub assembly off the axle stub? Or do you recommend another method?
Looking forward to your advice!

Smile Succss - Hub removed

Hi Folks,
Success! Wheel hub removed with: 1) Sledge hammer + long lever to gain rotation; 2) Wheel puller rented for €10 for Phelan's Tool Hire (Dungarvan); 3) Reverse bolted the half axle to wiggle the hub off.
Cheers,
Simon

Assume you intend to get this working again? And not just remove it. I removed mine by making some sturdy plates with holes which fitted on to the wheel studs this allowed me to hook the legs of a hydraulic puller on. Mine didn’t look as stuck though. Heat and lube? Is there an air operated (air released) parking brake attached? I’d price the bits needed to refurb, could be less expensive to get a new trailer axle.
