Cine films
Hi. My name is Mick and I have been a driver on Eastbourne Buses for 35 years. We were the first municipal bus company in the world starting operations in 1903. Sadly we will not be the last as we are up for sale and are about to be swallowed up by a larger company.
I have a bit of an unusual hobby of collecting old amateur film. I collect footage from all over the world and have well over 2000 reels dating back to the 1920s. Space is becoming tight though so I am really trying to concentrate on films shot in the South of England where I live or films featuring transport including trains, ships, planes as well as road transport. I have just purchased a nice collection of trolleybus films from the 1960s. |
