Bedford Bin Cart needs urgent assistance!

My Dinky Bedford Bin Cart had fallen onto the floor and I stood on it. The back axle is now out of shape. Can anyone help?

It still rolls, but is very much "toe out" (yet toe in) on the rear near side!

You probably need to remove the axle pin in order to straighten it.
The axle pin will probably have one end 'swaged' and the other end formed as a 'pinhead', so you will need to decide which end is the easiest to undo.
Of course, depending on your method, it could leave the axle pin 'short' so you might need to find an new piece of piano wire (or some stiff wire that won't bend easily.

Alternatively you can buy replacement axles:- http://dinkyclub.com/dinky-toys-mild...-10-1138-p.asp

All my old Dinky toys ended up with bent axles and no matter what I did I could never get them straight again.

I wouldn't know how to go about straightening the pin though. I'll take a look into buying a new axle for it, thankyou for that link.
