Big Cal's vintage day out

Sorry that this is much the same as I typed in the hello section, hopefully it's a little better placed here. Basically I come of age (50) Mid July and am looking to celebrate by having a vintage day out on the 13th.
The plan is to hire ( i know I know) a vintage bus to drive myself n pals to a steam railway n back . Sounds easy n expensive. So far drawing a bit of a blank ... considering just hiring an everyday coach n doing it that way. Prob . quicker , def cheaper however it just wouldn't have the same feel. I'm even getting a short back n sides , n a vintage look for the day.
Anyone who might be able to provide some sort of tip please do . Oh and the area of travel is the Blackpool area, tried contacting Fleetwood's tram. Sunday co ordinater but no luck there. aLL A bit of a long shot but nowt ventured , nowt gained. Thanks in advance Callum
