Spare parts and manuals - BMC and Leyland.

A relative of mine had a haulage business during the 1960s and '70s, and carried out all maintenance and repair on site.

He mainly ran BMC and, later, Leyland trucks, mostly in the 7-ton range, and has a lot of manuals and spares which he has asked me to try to dispose of.

The spares range from a complete set of gaskets for a "Bathgate" engine to sealed beam headlamps. There are lots of odd things, almost all unused, such as window pulls, door catches, door-retaining straps etc., besides engine parts and spares.

He also has original workshop manuals for: BMC 7-tonner, British Leyland Terrier TR 650/750/850/950 (3rd edition, 1971), Ruston Oil Engine - Spare parts list, Girling Sales and Service - Commercial vehicle Brakes.

If anyone is interested in anything mentioned above, or is searching for anything from BMC or BL vehicles from this era, please contact me on [email protected].

Sounds like an offer too good to miss for anyone restoring a BMC or Leyland.
