Post Vintage truck for my father?

Hey guys,

About 3 years ago my father retired work and started living the high life just chilling everyday, it dint take so long until he started getting really bored. He ended up renovating his garage for restoring vintage trucks to collect and he has some beauty's now, not that i know what they are due to having no clue about trucks or mechanics all together. It is his birthday coming up soon and i want to get him a new project, i have been looking around at vintage trucks for sale, vintage trucks classified ads etc, But im not quite sure what i am looking at. I have found one that looks about right and the price looks rite its just the mileage that gets me. I will put the description from the owner below and tell me what you think.

Description
"Selling my 1972 gmc 4 x 4 truck.
1500 super custom
has a 1978 350 v-8 engine & transmission
dual gas tanks
70,000 miles on motor and trans
very solid truck
asking $4,100
call 507-402-4114
albert lea, mn."

That is literally all the information there it is the kinda motor he works on and around the rite age to make it a good project for him. Does everything seem ok to you? is there anything i should look out for??

Any information would be greatly appreciated guys.

Thanks

I know absolutely nothing about this model of vehicle.

Your location states Berkshire, but your icon looks to be the Australian flag, and Albert Lea Minnesota is in the USA.

Whereabouts is your father located?
