new. help with Bedford TA steering

Hi all, i am new to this forum and certainly new to Bedfords. I have recently bought a Bedford type A tipper to convert into a mobile bar business. its in great condition but the steering on it seems a bit loose/lots of play in the steering. Now im not very technically minded but hoped that there is a relatively easy fix for this?

The steering gear on the A-type is a simple type and any Bedford manual steering 'service manual' (TS508) will give you details of how to service it.
