Find Your Way

Up to recent times we somehow managed to get from A to B without electronis aids, it might not have been a pain free journey but would Sat Nav have helped or not.
There are no shortage of Sat Nav mistakes to choose from and an insurance article reckons half the vehicles on the road now have Sat Nav fitted.

Taken from another article -

A sat-nav error led to a road being blocked for three days in south-west England - Oct 2007.

A Czech lorry driver was on his way to pick up a consignment of televisions from a depot in Devon when he got lost.

He asked for directions but did not speak enough English to make himself understood, so he followed his sat-nav's directions down a narrow country lane.

His 40-tonne truck then got stuck on a sharp bend in the village of Ivybridge, east of Plymouth.

The trucker's company refused to pay for the 15-metre truck's recovery, so it remained wedged in place for three days until a solution was found.

The lorry was eventually towed out by a tractor after nearby trees had been cut down.
