Bedford Rear Differential and Front Axle Assy

Hi Everyone,

I have a Rear Differential and Front axle assy that I have no idea what they are from. They both did come off a late model Bedford Truck but what model ? I have been through all my books and searched the net so please can someone tell me. Both are 16inch 6 stud, both have the wider brake drums, I got knew rear brake drums and they were VAS and fitted perfectly. The rear axle has a 12 bolt cover, and the axle tubes are large (like J5 size), and the diff housing has 8833409 stamped on it. The diff ratio is oddball 4.625:1 (stamped on crown wheel is 8/37). The rear axle came with a Clayton Dewandre airbrake fitted. Also the book made reference to the rear brake cylinder adjusters as being EOL / POK due the rotating metal slotted cups on them. The front axle kingpins are also large (like J5 size). Thanks for reading all this !!!

Too much detail for me to remember I'm afraid.

EOL/POK model designation - the O is simply 'all engines' (most would be the 220cuin 'H' or 330cuin 'J' diesel though could be the 214cuin 'D' or 300cuin 'F' petrol engines).

EOL model is TK750 (was KB/KC/KD depending on chassis length).

That's as far as I can recall.

High Speed Differentials

Bedford Van.[INDENT][INDENT]10th July 2023

High Speed Differentials
CFL 250, 25 spline
CF 270 21 spline
Dual wheel 21 spline

We use Borg warner diffs (75) for both CFL250, and CF 270.
Broach the side gears, to 25 or 21 spline.

For the dual wheel we use land rover Bedford Dana 60.
Broach the side gears to 21, the T/shaft flange is the same as the bedford flange.

Contact us for help with your conversion.

Regards,
Jeff
