I have been running Windows 7 Home Premium since February 2010 - I have not had a single BSoD like I did with XP Professional! I hate BSoD's - I'd have at least 2 a day with the XP computer!
My original laptop computer was a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120, running XP Pro with a 60GB hard disk and Intel single core processor..... my current laptop is another Toshiba - this time a Satellite L500 running Windows 7 with a 320GB hard disk and Intel T4500 dual core 2.30GHz processor - would not have any other brand! Windows 7
As you can see, Windows 7 is very similar to Windows Vista so I guess Windows Vista is just a trial version. Microsoft tested the user to create this software which they said will last for long.
