A few years ago a couple of cars crashed off the road due to ice.

The police vehicle that was dispatched to the scene crashed into the two cars . . .

Reminds me of the Tricolor which overturned in the English Channel (La Manche to any of our French members.)

Despite special marker buoys and signals, two, if not three other vessels managed to collide with the wreckage!
