1947 bedford 6 cylinder petrol engine

Hi Bedford folks, I'm new to this forum so please excuse any stupid questions that I post . I have just started a new job at a commercial transport garage, and have been given the task of rebuilding a 1947 Bedford truck that was purchased by the owner of the company to use as a show truck. One of the old employees took it apart and then retired and left it fully blown apart. So it has been left to me to reconstruct it. I'm not sure what model it is but it has a dual wheeled back axle, and a straight 6 petrol engine. No manual or leads for parts and help, so I may be asking you as a collective for lots of help along the way. I will post some pics of the vehicle when I have worked out how to add them to this thread.
Thanks in advance for any and all help form you.
