What size do you use, mine are around 1200x700 pixels which I find is ok for laptops. This might be a bit small for people with bigger screens but the pictures seem to upload without any problems at this size. I have noticed that if I forget to re-size a photo before I post it will not send.

I've recently (ie 12th August) uploaded two photographs taken at Biggar Rally - 700/750x650 - but they seemed somewhat large compared to some others.
Is there something other than pixel dimensions? My camera images are around 3872x2592 (it says), so I reduce them using M$Paint to 25% of their size (height and width) and then crop them. Is there a better way (that doesn't involve buying Photoshop). I have no desire to start tinkering with my photographic images (other than resize them to suit 'publication'). |

Not sure about uploading to here.
However, I use "GIMP" (which is free) to crop and scale/re-size images before I upload to Ipernity. |

I try to take full frame shots and then downsize them on Paint, this is the only thing that I do to them.
