Turner box onto Perkins
Hi, thanks for allowing me to join. I have a Perkins 6354 in an ag machine and would like to fit a turner 5sp box ex KG Bedford to it , problem is flywheel housing on engine is sae3 and gearbox bell housing is sae2. I would like to find either a sae3 bellhousing for the gearbox or sae2 flywheel housing for the engine. The turner box was fitted to many trucks? another option is cut the center out of the sae2 bell housing and weld it into the outer ring of a sae3 bell housing or finding a close ratio gearbox from something else. Keen to hear your thoughts, cheers.
